Omg omg, I can offically call myself a writer (soon a published writer as well!) I have been writing a opening chapter to a book for a few weeks and I am finally finished. Now I just have to send it to the publishers and then in August or September the book comes out and I can go to the book store and say: “I have written a part of this book and look, there’s my name.” It’s really a dream come true and a little surreal to think about. This may sound silly to some people, but to me this is huge. I can’t wait for the holiday to be over, like really - it’s a book with my name on it for Christ’s sake. Unreal.
I just passed 61 pages and 15 000 words on the novel I am writing. I am so freakin’ happy, I can’t even describe how I feel. My goal is to get to page 100 before August 18th and I think I am gonna make it. Finally!
I became poet of the month for April in Norway in a newspaper called “Dagbladet”, which is one of the biggest newspapers here. I am so happy and thrilled right now! This is a really big thing for me because I love writing. Oh my god, I don’t know what to say. I also did an interview with the newspaper and it got published online. My poem will also be published in the paper version soon. I almost can’t believe this!
